If you are lucky your flowers may still be looking pretty, and if you got chocolates

they may be lasting on your waistline for months to come, but what about the love and caring that you shared on Monday?  Is that still around?

Many people bemoan the commercial, forced nature of Valentine’s Day- a day to make us all demonstrate just how much we really care.  But the truth is that this “hallmark” card holiday is important.  It’s a reminder that love is more than just words- it’s a conscious decision to act lovingly and compassionately to others.

I hope that you had a Valentine’s Day full of love and fun- whether it was with your spouse, your boyfriend/girlfriend, your children, or your friends.  And I am even more hopeful that you will see this holiday as a starting point to increase the way in which you SHOW your love each and every day.
