Some of you in the DC area may be familiar with WEAVE (Women Empowered Against Violence). They provide comprehensive services to victims of relationship violence. The city of DC has cut all funding for their counseling services and without our help they will have to close their doors and many of their staff will be unemployed. In addition to counseling services they provide legal, financial counseling, and other necessary services.
