We’ve all heard the old adage, “dress for the job you want” but what about dressing for the date you want? Getting ready for date night can be a daunting task sometimes.
Even as much as I love fashion, some days I just want to put on some leggings, a hoodie, and put my hair in a ponytail.
Not exactly an outfit worthy of romance.
That’s not to say that every date night has to mean heels and makeup or a suite and tie. But I’m a firm believer that if you want date night to feel special you need put in some special effort… and that includes your outfit.
In fact I have some favorite date night outfits because when I wear them they set the tone for rest of the date. Whether it’s about being casual and laid back or turning up the romance, there’s an outfit to make it happen.
