Hello summer! 

According to the Washington Post today at 7:09 p.m. (EDT) , the sun will shine directly overhead at the Tropic of Cancer while the North Pole reaches its maximum tilt towards the sun. For the Northern Hemisphere, this marks the official start of summer and the longest day of the year.   We can’t think of a better way to celebrate the start of summer than with our own version of the ultimate Sexy Summer Workout!  Now before you go grab your food scale and yoga pants let me explain what our summer series is all about.

Here at Group Therapy Associates we know that the sexiest thing anyone can do for themselves is to take care of what’s inside.  When we are compassionate and loving toward ourselves our relationships improve, we are more motivated to eat healthy and exercise our bodies, we are kinder and more generous with others- we are sexy!  So that’s why we are so excited to launch our brand new summer series of workshops, groups, webinars, tweetchats, and more all with this year’s theme….

Self-Care is Sexy…

Each week you can expect blog posts helping you find simple yet effective ways to bring more self care into  your life.  Later this week I’ll be talking about what self care really means and why it is not selfish but actually one of the best gifts you can give to the people around you.
